Text Counting Software Supported Formats

This page lists file formats which can be counted by AnyCount.

When you are in Settings window, you can adjust count settings for each of the file formats you have selected on Files screen.

• .BMP – Bitmap image (various graphic editors).
• .CHM – Microsoft ^® HTML help format.
• .CSV – Microsoft ^® Excel, other spreadsheet software.
• .DOC – Microsoft ^® Word for Windows, Microsoft ^® Word for Macintosh, other word processors.

• .GIF –  Graphic Interchange Format (various graphic editors).
• .HLP – Microsoft ^® Winhelp format.
• .HTM –  Hypertext Markup Language file format.
• .HTML –  Hypertext Markup Language file format.
